Bank claiming PPI

My bank the Nationwide has a link for claiming PPI, how is there search different to the numerous company's that claim to find out for you?
I have had a joint account with my wife for and the same credit card for over 15 years. We have taken out interest free credit to buy things but have no records of ones that are paid off .We have 5 store cards between us that are paid of every month ,is it worth trying to find out if we miss sold PPI?

my understanding is that if you paid your balance off every month then there is no PPI attributed to the account.

Er, the Bank is searching it's own records-the Claims Companies have no ability to do such a "search"-they merely complain on your behalf and charge a huge commission for doing so.

As above, if you always paid off your account each month you won't have paid any PPI.
