Can I close my old Vantage accounts online?

    Easiest way I've found to close old accounts is switch them into one you want to keep.

    Halifax and bank of scotland let you close accounts online or via phone.

    But tsb and lloyds make you go into a branch and sign a form etc.

    You can close some accounts over the phone.

    Transfer the monies into one account and leave the rest with a nil balance - you never know when you will need a mule account to transfer when applying for new accounts that require a bank account switch.

    I'm afraid it's not possible to close the account online; however, if you pop into one of our branches they'll be happy to help with this. Alternatively, you could send your closure request in writing to:
