Scammed by Ebay seller - any way to get my money back?

I bought some software from a seller on Ebay. I found out 3 months later that the seller used a stolen credit card to buy a software license from the company who produces the software and provided me with that license.
The software producer has now revoked the license because of this so I am left without any license to use the software and out of pocket by £125.
Ebay have told me that I am not covered by their 30 day guarantee as it is outside that period. PayPal have told me that I am not covered by their 45 day guarantee as it is outside that period. Annoyingly they also told me that they increased their claim period to 180 days for transactions made since June but my transaction was in May so I am not covered. I also checked with my bank regarding indemnity as the PayPal payment was made from there but they told me that this would only be covered if the direct debit from PayPal was unauthorised.
Can anyone please advise where I go from here or whether I stand any chance of getting my money back?
Hope this also serves as a warning to others about the perils of buying software on Ebay.
Thanks in advance

Very little chance i'm afraid as it's also likely the details ebay and PayPal have for the seller are also fake.0
