Parking Eye - Debt Collectors letter for 30 sec overstay.

I spoke to Father Brian at the Church a couple of months ago, I was a little breathless as I was being chased away from the nearby Tower Road Golf Club at the time, I was only taking a few photo's.

Father Brian was obviously a real nice guy, who let me freely photograph his signs....."you can do what you want if it's helping Parking Eye...." I didn't have the heart to continue his misconception, so had to be up front, he still let me photograph the signs ! Had a very interesting hour having a theological debate about Evil and all that, shame he's still allowing PE to manage his land. His main concern was that people basically took the p*ss about parking, and PE doesn't cost him anything.

I've since e-mailed The Church with links to how PE treat cancer patients, but I've had no response as yet.

Father Brian signs witness statements quite freely, and seems to have the power to let off a dozen motorists a year.

This is the email I received today. The final day before court papers issued.

Reference: Parking Charge Notice - xxxxxx/xxxxxxxx

Dear Sir / Madam,

We refer to the Parking Charge incurred on 30 May 2013 at 17:02:59, at Holy Trinity Church Newquay car park.

After investigating your appeal it appears that the incorrect vehicle registration was input and this has therefore resulted in the issue of the Parking Charge.

On this occasion as a gesture of goodwill we will be cancelling this Parking Charge. To prevent this situation arising in the future, please ensure the correct vehicle registration details are input.

Haha. Thanks to you two, three including Coupon, I couldn't have done it without your advice. I've learnt a lot over the past 2 weeks, it's been very interesting reading the cases and newspaper extracts etc.. Massive learning curve.
