Truecall does just what it says

There was a thread I found on here where Truecall was mentioned, but I couldn't find anything else. We get about 4 calls daily from International numbers (so they get round TPS), always when we are busy. I have tried letting them go to leaving a message but the actual call is still a nuisance. I then read the Which report and we bought a Truecall. It is brilliant (I am not connected to the company in any way, but am just SO pleased to find such a really good device). It is easy to use, very intuitive, very efficient. You enter the numbers you do want to talk to on your computer, including international ones, and then it will politely screen all the others, giving you a detailed log of all your calls in and out (you can even record them for posterity if you buy an extra SD card). Yesterday it screened out 4 international calls who wouldn't leave a message - ie cold callers. It comes with pre recorded messages but you can record your own, and if a call gets through which you don't want you can 'Zap' (put them on the baddies list) in mid call, which I haven't had to do. I feel protected from the daily 4 - 5 intrusive and often downright rude callers claiming to be from Microsoft, or other reputable companies, but which are all scams. £90 something seems like a lot of money, but I think it is really worth it if you are bothered by these calls, and just wanted to share the joy with others !:rotfl:
