Click to win not honoured

I had an email to say I'd won Lollibop tickets and a children's book bundle yesterday. I've just had an email from Yours magazine to say that 2 winners were chosen in error by the system yesterday instead of one, and they've chosen the other winner for the prize. Disappointed! :(

You must be disappointed! I would complain and see if they will reconsider or give you an alternative - you won fair and square!!!

    That's a bit mean!

Not like the Boots comp where they selected quite possibly every entrant as a winner for their Barcelona trip comp! We at least got about a tenner's worth of Boots points as compensation.

I would definitely 'go public' and put something on their twitter and facebook pages. They tend to act much more favourably when their good deed can be seen by thousands ;) Keep it very sort of 'soooo disappointed... etc'. Don't go in all guns blazing (not that you would, but just sayin').

Good luck. Keep us informed :)

I've had this, I'm not going to say where because I had a pretty good substitute prize for my 'distress' kick up politely and mention the ASA use words like 'I feel disappointed... I feel I have no choice but to refer it to the relevant regulator'

Hi amadeo, I'm sorry this has happened to you, especially if you've been waiting a while for a win.

I personally would not complain I'd just move on and try to forget about it.

    I hope you get a fantastic win soon...10 x better. :)
    Comping since January 16th 2014 :)

Tweet them and say how disappointed you were, how upset your children are.. should sort them out! Very mean of them.

Okay mistakes happen, but they told you you'd won.

I'd expect them to show goodwill in some form for such an error.

Have to say that the computer system being used for click to wins can't be very good- few months ago after chasing my non-delivered prize, I was eventually told the prize it had picked my name out for, was an old one that had been rerun when it shouldn't of- because the prize didn't exist anymore. They sent me an e-voucher to make up for it.

Thanks everyone for your help, I sent a disappointed tweet, and they've magically found more tickets and more books so are honouring the win :)
