Moorgate DMP Showing On Credit File

I set up a DMP back in October 2007 and paid off all my debts after 5 years in October 2012.
There were 5 people who I paid the money back to and 2 of these no longer show. 1 other has a default date which should disappear in October and another one in February 2015.
There is one other on there which is for Moorgate who took over the debt from MBNA.
There is no default date against them but it says Debt Management Plan against them. I just tried to ring them up to see when this is going to be removed and they say 2018. Which basically means that I have another 4 years to wait until I can get a mortgage.
So because MBNA passed this debt onto them its hindering me now for another 4 years. Is there anything I can do? as if it was just paying back MBNA on the DMP then that would have disappeared now.
I was told that when I set up my DMP that everything would be okish after 6 years and I have started to build up my credit rating massively apart from this one part on my file. I have no debt whatsoever and have a good job and earn a decent wage.
Can anyone please advise if there is anything I can do?
Many thanks

Yes, you can complain that it should have been defaulted as soon as it was past to moorgate, exactly the same thing is on my hitlist of things to do.
If you were just paying MBNA it would have made no difference to when it dropped off unless they defaulted it
Like myself you have been punished for paying too much, Ive had one victory against halifax for the same thing, moorgate/MBNA up next0 -
Yes, complain in writing. Moorgate respond to complaints. They have had plenty off me!
Selling a debt is a clear indicator of a default. When was it sold to them?:beer:0 -
they may respond to complaints but they havent responded to my CCA request0

My arrangement with moorgate seems to be being reported strangely, equifax its being reported as ok (until recently when i dropped the payment amount) call credit its now been removed as they didnt respond to a query via noddle0

They responded to mine well within the allowed time. 7 days in fact.
Maybe they need to get it from the original creditor?
How long has it been?:beer:0 -

When this happens to me, I respond to any letter stating that until it's been produced, no payments will be considered. Usually works.:beer:0
