Help Help Help!!!..i'm Sooo Stuck!

Hi all hopefully some very clever person can help with my many many questions!!.....i am trying to claim my bank charges from Halifax and not really having much luck, the stage i'm at now is.....i sent a letter 2 weeks ago stating if they didn't pay up the amount owed i would start court procedures, i called the customer services today, nightmare!!

first they said that i'd have to wait 8 weeks as from when the declined the offer, is this right??

Secondly they said that my case is being re-reviewed but it will be 8 weeks before i recieve any further coresspondence,

Thirdly as i'm in scotland does the fact i'm claiming £2330 from Halifax mean that i can't go through small claims court,

have no idea what to do now!!...thanx in advance for any help! xx

They are all saying that...You stick to your timescale not theirs, however, they still seem to give replies out after the 8 weeks regardless and even point out..' we realise you have made a claim against us.' Daft I know, basically they are trying to say ..we did need this time and have replied...
in answer to your 3rd question....your maximum claim in scotland is £750, check the reclaim help thread to clarify this.

So i can't take it to court then, is my next option to file a complaint with financial ombisman??..thank for reply x
