Paying for a holiday

Just looking for advise on a payment.
Want to pay for Emirates/Qantas flight tickets £1400.00
Going thro travel agent who is ABTA & ATOL registered
If I pay via bank transfer would I still get money back should things go wrong?
Or pay via credit card with a 3% card fee, thinking of section75 cover.
Which is better or does it not matter?

Pay £100 on the credit card and the rest in cash/bank transfer.

You can pay £1 on the credit card for S75 protection. It's the total cost that counts, not how much is on the credit cardOne important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0

but above all make sure you have your travel insurance in place before buying your flights...0

Hi,
If you look on the emirates website the flights are normally cheaper which is why travel agents wont price match the airline themselves.
I had got an MBNA emirates credit card to purchase my flights £1100 as I got extra skymile points and a 12 months interest free on the flights (this was before I had to cnx my plans before I had booked my flights
) remember your holiday insurance!!
xxThanks to money saving tips and debt repayments/becoming debt free I have been able to work and travel for the last 4 years visiting 12 countries and working within 3 of them. Currently living and working in Canada  :dance:0 -
Could try a cash back credit card to get some of that 3% back.
Won't the ATOL protection cover you anyways regardless of payment method?0
