Trip Advisor- Blocked/disabled accounts Has anyone had them reconnected

Like many other people my Trip Advisor account was blocked some months ago and despite much effort I was unable to find out the reason why this action was taken. To my knowledge I had not written anything that breached their rules. I have now given up trying to contact them. Has anyone had their Blocked/Disabled account reconnected or know of somebody that has had any success in this field. If so how did they accomplish this feat!!!

Has your TA account actually been blocked?
See post below which includes a response from one of the TA mods about the message you get when you try to log in.RIGHT to get straight to the point, I have now had a reply back from TA and here is the message they sent

Hi xxxxxxxx
Thank you for contacting TripAdvisor. No, we have not taken any actions or enabled any filters specific to UK members. We have recently received some reports, though, of members who have been unable to sign in after changing their passwords. Our engineers are currently investigating this issue, but in the meantime, affected members have advised they have been able to resolve the problem by clearing their browser cookies or signing into a different TripAdvisor site, i.e. tripadvisor.com instead of tripadvisor.co.uk (or vice-versa, depending on which site they normally use).
If a user's account has been banned, on the other hand, they should receive the error message "Your user account has been disabled" when they attempt to sign into their account. If someone is not getting this exact message, that means that their user account is not banned, and the steps above should resolve the issue, if it is a sign-in issue. If these members are actually able to sign into their accounts but are not able to post to the forums, there may be other issues that need to be resolved.
Without knowing which members are having the problems, though, I'm not able to determine which problem they are having. I would certainly be happy to investigate further if you can pass on the screen names of any of the members who are having trouble signing in.
Best regards,
Dan

Now i do not know if this helps anyone but at least I did get an answer from them. The only other thing I can offer to the people that are in the situation {but not before middle/end this week} is if anyone wants to PM me with their screen names I will try and get them over to TA to see what they can sort out
I do know that if any are banned TA MAY give me some info stating that point but that is not to say I can do anything to plead a case for them.
OK I have done for you what I can and I do honestly hope this can resolve the problem for some {if not all} of you.
Have you been getting the error message '"Your user account has been disabled" when you attempt to sign into your account?
If you have, I doubt very much that you'll ever get it reinstated or get to the bottom of why your account was banned.
If you get any other message, there is advice on how to try to circumvent it.
The above quote was from this thread:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5013668
and the posts #52 & #55 are from me describing a log-in problem I had.0 -
The above is very helpful but I think the question being asked is to date has anyone who has had their account disabled subsequently had it reconnected. My account was disabled 3 months ago for no apparent reason.0

but are you getting that message ?
you didnt answerEx forum ambassador

I am not sure what the above post is trying to imply. It seems rather rude to me. The question being asked is has a blocked account ever been reconnected up to now. Not what may happen in the future0

OK.
Read this - which was included in post #2:
The OP used the term 'blocked'.If a user's account has been banned, on the other hand, they should receive the error message "Your user account has been disabled" when they attempt to sign into their account. If someone is not getting this exact message, that means that their user account is not banned, and the steps above should resolve the issue, if it is a sign-in issue. TA Dan in his reply did not at any time use the term 'blocked'.
He used the terms 'banned' and 'disabled'.
I asked if the OP was getting the error message "Your user account has been disabled" when he tried to log in in an attempt to determine if his account really had been 'banned'/'disabled' or if his account was 'blocked' which may mean something else.
Browtoa simply asked again what message was being shown.
His post was not rude.
To simplify;
'Banned' and 'disabled' appear to mean the same to TA.
There is no evidence that 'blocked' is a term used by TA or if it is used by TA, that it means the same as 'banned' & 'disabled'.0 -
I understand now. My account was disabled. So the question is Has anyone in the past had their Trip Advisor account disabled and then reconnected.
What happens in the future is a different point.0 -

What happens in the future is a different point.
If your reviews were as rude as your posts on this forum then it's no surprise you were banned.Every generation blames the one before...

My account was DISABLED. Without any sarcastic responses (as the above post which was untirely unnesssary), has anyone ever had their Trip Advisor account ractivated after it was disabled. Certainly I had no success with mine and feel it is a waste of time to keep trying unless someone has had any success. Thank you.0

You may wish to read this thread and contact London50 who appears to be a DE on TA and is passing user details on to TA Dan - as per my post #2:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5013668
The way I read the message from TA Dan was that he was willing to look at anyone's account if they had not been banned (or disabled) but I may be wrong to interpret it that way.
If you read the last post on that thread, someone who has had their account disabled has contacted London 50.0 -

I have. I send an email to their support and it was re-instated.0
