Barclays cash card after bankruptcy

The advice on here is generally that you should open an account before and move your income and DD's over. If you already have a co-op basic account (not regular current) then they will let you keep it open but will not open one for you after BR until discharged so open a basic account with co-op before BR. You can have any amount of accounts so there is no reason they would think it weird. If you feel the need to justify it - just say you are looking for a basic account with a card to use for ebay or something. The Lloyds account and Co-op regular account will probably be closed.Do you open the account before you declare BR or after? I already have a lloyds account that I don't use and a co op current would it look odd if I try open another account and I have a barclaycard credit card I'm in arrears with!!
You can open a basic account with Barclays after BR regardless of what you may have owed the CC but they don't allow any internet or phone banking until you are discharged (unless you slip though the net as some on here have done)0
