Re topic not allies!!! Allows lol (sorry the iPad changed my word).

I'd like to hear reviews on the dryline or clothes mac etc.

Or if anyone has made one please can you share how you did it?

With the rain coming but also wind!!!!
My gazebo buckled which I had over my rotary which was good but took off due to the wind lol.

I'm looking into either purchasing a cover or making one (I have a sewing machine) with taupuling? Wanting some info or reviews on them.

I really don't want a tumble dryer due to the running cost, but I also need something to help me keep on top of the laundry as we are a family of four with some washing!!!

Thanks people.

Ps or is their a way I can cut and sew my gazebo cover and use that? As it's will be thrown away due to the poles being bent.

If I had the money, and a garden, I would have one of these :-

Protection from the rain and it uses the wind to dry

There are a couple of people over in the Old Style thread who have a rotary drier with cover - can't remember who exactly but someone there will point you in the right direction. Try the daily thread.

    EDIT - found this online - http://www.rotaire.com/

I see what you mean about having the money - £350 for a tent with no ends!

I purchased a Rotaire washing line and cover 2 months ago after reading all the good reviews on their website. After using it for 2 months here are my views.

The line and cover are very good quality and feel that they will last for years.
You have to put the line down in very strong winds as it will get damaged.
During the winter months the washing only dries a little bit through the day and cannot be left out over night as it gets wetter again.
The inside of the top is covered in condensation each morning and if you don't remove it before you put your washing out, it drips on to the washing making it wetter.
On a sunny day the washing takes much longer to dry as the sun is not getting to the washing.

    Conclusion

It's handy to have the cover if you go out for the day and there is a chance of rain but don't believe all the reviews on their site, washing takes much longer to dry and sometimes hardly dries at all.
