JSA(Conts) count for TC but JSA(IB) doesn't?

Is it true that income-based JSA does not have to be included in Tax Credit Appn forms?
That's how I read it on behalf of my neighbour; but, I wasn't sure if this was an error on the form (as I noticed an amendment slip enclosed, as the form had mistakenly asked for 2013/14 income, rather than 2012/13 income).
Many thanks.

Please be polite to OPs and remember this is a site for Claimants and Appellants to seek redress against their bank, ex-boss or retailer. If they wanted morality or the view of the IoD or Bank they'd ask them.

The amount is not required as those on income based JSA are automatically entitled to the maximum child tax credits.
Just to add the box to tick is only if you are currently getting IBJSA not if you had it in the previous tax year.

Thanks Icequeen99.
Yes, that's how I read it too - it just seemed a bit strange.
It's for WTC, as he's just gone Self-employed after he was on JSA(IB) for a year. Please be polite to OPs and remember this is a site for Claimants and Appellants to seek redress against their bank, ex-boss or retailer. If they wanted morality or the view of the IoD or Bank they'd ask them.0
