My other half got this via email - he doesnt even have a halifax account. I just saw a similar one for lloyds too so looks like someone is doing the run

without being rude, if everyone posted all these attempts from different banks there would be nothing else on this site. I get at least 3 or 4 of these every week, usually from banks I know nothing about. I also get at least 2 a day claiming to be from paypal.
These are always fraud attempts just bin them0 -

I get so many of these lol, at least five a day. What makes me think that they're not genuine is that they generally always start 'Dear Valued Customer' ... Since when have UK banks ever valued their customers???0
