The website does not have bpa or ipc logos.

Dee, they're not listed by either BPA or IPC.Je suis Charlie.0

But the guy who runs it, Dean Key, also runs a burger joint with his brother Dale: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2173965/Burger-King-Restaurants-monster-meal-pounds-beef-12-rashers-bacon-dozen-cheese-slices.htmlJe suis Charlie.0

So they have over 18 years experience of parking from company that has existed for less than 3 years, run by 2 directors aged circa 22 and 30 , where does all this experience come from ? Also their burger place is in dissolutionWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

Neither do they appear to have any clients, testimonials, or even take credit cards. It's as though they have suddenly risen from the ashes ...You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

There seem to be four Keys involved in parking. As well as Dean and Dale there's Martin, who is about 33, and Jason who runs Venture Parking Ltd. At the age of about 53 Jason is presumably the Godfather at whose knee the little Keys learned everything they know (which apparently didn't include how to join an Accredited Trade Association).Je suis Charlie.0

It also seems that Mr. Godfather didn’t teach his offspring how to comply with Company Law.
The website provides no details of the identity of the legal entity behind the trading name “Phoenix Parking”. It provides only an e-mail address and an 0845 telephone number and nowhere does it give details of the company’s registered name, company number or registered address, even though this is a requirement of Companies Trading Disclosure Regulations.
Whilst you could assume that the outfit behind the website is Phoenix Parking Limited (Company Number 07783689) it could also be Phoenix Parking Solutions Limited (Company Number 07783819) which was incorporated on the same day, 22nd September 2011. Of course, the business may just be Dean & Dale in partnership trading as “Phoenix Parking”. It’s impossible to be sure from the information provided on their website.
Maybe worthwhile alerting Trading Standards?

Thank you all for your help, today. No signal on phone in office, nor easy ability to access the internet on work computers for anything not work. It made trips out to the garden fun so I could post for your help.
So it seems like I need to be having a whinge at the manager of the Nat. West bank whose car park this PCN was received in. And formulate a letter to Trading Standards. All this because a colleague walked in a little upset at getting a parking ticket last week.
Poor guy who got the ticket was quite be used by it all!
Definitely co no. 7783689 . Unfortunately for me he went to the bank who are arranging cancellation of ticket and handed it over before I could get a copy of the back, which is what alerted me to the fact it probably was a cowboy lot as there was no recourse to POPLA or IPC mentioned.
May be back for help wording the letter to trading standards later if ok.Newbie thread: go to the top of this page and find these words: Main site > MoneySavingExpert.com Forums > Household & Travel > Motoring > Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking.
