Book now or wait?

Hi

OH and I want to go to Turkey on the 20th September. We know
which resort and hotel we want to stay in. However it's coming up quite pricey. However when we were looking around a month ago it was coming up £150 cheaper p.p. I've looked at all companies and tried to book flights separately and the cheapest I can find is monarch.

Just wanting advice from any travel agents whether to book now or wait a couple of weeks towards the end of the school holidays. Will there be any sales?

Thanks
Cat

It was 6 weeks on Saturday!

I know antenna. OH and I agreed to wait til August pay day before we booked.

Mind you, we went to Turkey last year first week of summer holidays, booked it the week before and cost us £270 each B&B inc luggage & transfers.

Holiday Pirates/Sunshine Stacey can help and can be found on that other HUKD site.

If the uk has 5 sunny days on the trot then foreign holidays go down in price......but because of hurricane bertha they have gone up.
It's my theory and i am sticking to it.

Six weeks is rumoured as the late deal window.

Thanks not looked at those sites. Think Thomas Cook has on their website late deals departing in the next 4 weeks. Hence why I was dithering.

Would it really bother you if you couldn't go to that resort and to that hotel?

Would it be very inconvenient if you couldn't book for 20th September and had to go a few days earlier or later?

If you are tied to those dates and really want a specific hotel, I would bite the bullet and book.

In my experience, holidays often seem to get cheaper then nearer the departure date they go back up.

You may have missed the boat price-wise.
