  • We are with Natwest and have been for 25yrs+ and we have an OD with them which will come to me when hubby goes bancrupt shortly, so will be intersting to see what hassle i get, i will be offering a token payment each month until i manage to find work , i partly blame Natwest for our situation because they could see how much was being paid in each month and that majority was benefits and kept raising our credit zone limit, its now £4600!!!!!!

Hi ...have the Nasty West not realised that the tricky subject of BR is about to get much worse?? Current climate will predict that more & more will be forced to take BR route....surely they would see this as an opportunity to help their clients especially if that client has been loyal to them over the years!!

We need more BR friendly basic bank account providers. Banks are only concerned with risk & profit. I would suggest that someone BR with no odraft or credit card would be a surefire safe bet. However as they cannot offer lucrative account bolt-on services this is probably not a good money making opportunity for the Bank!!!

Co-op or Barclays seem to be offering a solution....I suggest you vote with your feet...into one of their branches.
