Weird one from the solicitors!

Hi all

I'm at the stage where I've got two dates for two defence hearings (from two separate accounts/claims) at the end of August - I've known about these for about 10 days now. Today, Lloyds solicitors (Sechiari, Clark & Mitchell) have written to me to say that Lloyds will settle the amount outstanding for ONE of the accounts (the lower of the two amounts, about £4,200) and that it's all "Strictly Without Prejudice".

The interesting (& worrying) thing is that they want to pay the money into the OTHER account that they are still taking to court. I'm concerned that in the two page "Without Prejudice" letter that they have sent me that there's some wording that might negate the second claim in some way. Do you think that I should just go ahead and accept this amount, or that I should seek legal advice, or just disregard it and go to court anyway?

Thanks all in advance!
