Savings in Santander current account! HELP

I've currently got my savings in a natwest normal
SAVings account about 1% AER a year.
If I was to put it in the Santander current account would my credit history be affected in anyway by having 2 current accounts open?
Also the money which is paid in does that have to be from an employer or can I transfer from my own account?

It can come from anywhere...salary, FP from one of your own accounts elsewhere, cheque, cash, etc.Also the money which is paid in does that have to be from an employer or can I transfer from my own account?0
