I am a student studying for a postgrad degree and I am conducting a survey to research attitudes towards Electric Vehicle car use and ownership in the UK.

If you’re up to filling out an online survey I would be very grateful to you. It takes around 10 minutes to complete, is multi choice and completely confidential.

To do the survey please copy and paste web address below into a browser and it will go to the Google Forms survey start page.

If you don’t fancy the survey then just post below whether you’re considering getting an EV or have decided not to and why.

PS. My study concentrates on people’s attitudes to pure EVs although I recognise many may prefer plug-in hybrid EVs which also have a back-up combustion engine.
Thanks, Buzz13

I won't read and run, I won't be filling out the survey it's a bit of a cheeky 1st post IMO.

Had a go at it, but its far too long, boring and convoluted to maintain my interest.

Would consider a hybrid next time i'm changing - probably a Prius - as i'm doing 25K per year and i want to keep costs down and reduce use of fossil fuels.

We have a biomass wood pellet boiler, solar panels and ultra high levels of insulation on our house so reducing our reliance of fossil fuels even further would be a big plus for me.

It doesn't upset me, I did walk on by.
Is it even within the forum rules the original post?

Even though you are probably driving a coach and horses through your institution's policy on data gathering and the use of random online sources, considerably weakening any value of your work in the process, you are still quite able to understand the various terms and conditions you clearly agreed to have read and understood as part of your signup.

So why isn't this in the correct forum for member surveys?

I don't really get people that post these surveys. I don't see how the data is in any way relevant.

It's relevant to their homework for school.

Yes but then why claim you are doing a degree?

Put simply, if you are doing a degree, then you aren't doing it very well.

If you are doing a GCSE coursework then maybe it is ok.

I don't think it's against any forum rules,we've had students asking for similar help before, don't see it as any big deal.

Sorry Buzz i've googled that link and i'm not getting anything.

You don't google the link, you paste the address straight into address bar and it will take you there.
I know on another forum I frequent, those type of requests and the vote for ??? posts are not accepted, probably different on MSE.

I had a look at it, I'm a bit dubious about the way some of the questions are asked tbh, this fossil fuel thing, the energy that charges these vehicles are derived from fossil fuel energy stations and soon to be fracked fueled power stations.

BTW OP I have completed it, I still think it a feisty request for a 1st post.
