internet access slow

my laptop is ultra slow at getting in and getting onto internet. Did a disk clean yesterday and was ok for a wee while. Do i need to take it to pc world?

your problem is the laptop is 1)slow booting up or 2)that when your browsing on the internet the pages are very slow

try a speedtest to see what your internet download is and then if it is normal switch off your router for 5 mins and the switch back on again

Is it slow at running other programs as well or just the web browser? Does it take a long time to boot up?

Once a page has loaded, is it slow to load other pages, or is it mainly slow when you first boot the PC / start the browser?

Only if you want it wiped and a new hard drive installing...
If your internet is slow then it may have nothing to do with your laptop at all, so the first thing to do is test another device on the same connection.
You post implies that it's only slow online, not offline.
