Hi,
Daughter flying to Turkey for 2 year work. She has medical insurance there and only needs cancellation and baggage cover for the flight there.
Cannot do it with Turkish airlines.
All I can find is holiday or 4 day insurance etc.
Any pointers welcome
thanks

I looked at this a while ago and there were a few I could find. True Traveller and World Nomads are the only ones I can remember and I never needed to claim etc so can't comment on how good they are. But they are policies you can have for just one or two days and so will cover the flight and nor do they require a return to the UK travel to be booked.
Google 'expat insurance' and 'backpacker insurance' and work from there to find a policy. There are some other older threads on here that should come up on this kind of search.
PS Turkish Airlines are by far the worst airline I've ever flown with. Tell your daughter to take a book (the entertainment system won't work) and a healthy dose of self worth, the staff are very rude! :rotfl:0 -
I just looked at the two companies and the shortest time was 3 days (WN) and 4 days (TT) but varying between 8.50 and 13 GBP it won't really matter if she is covered for a few days extra.
Just remember to read all the boring policy info!!0
