Cheap New Year snowboarding hol?

Hi there. My DS would really like to go on a snowboarding break between Xmas and New Year. He is a final year nursing student so will be on placement up til Xmas and again from about 4 Jan 2015 so is limited to the period between Xmas and New Year.

Can anyone recommend cheap resorts/holiday operators etc? Cheap = cheap but reliable really:o

I don't think it would be a big group - 2 to 4 people at most.
Thanks for any pointers :)

Nope, still on placement at that time :-(. As I say, it's tough for nursing students. they get very little time off and it's not something you can 'bunk' off from if you are in a hospital or other care facility!

You've picked one of the most popular weeks as many people spend Christmas with their families and then shoot off to recuperate so unlikely to be any bargains. Might be worth looking at Christmas Eve flights as NY is more popular than Christmas for the charter ski flights.
