Hello i was looking to get a sort of package deal (well my sister in law is but she wants me to buy it for her) for a PC around £500 - £600 possibly more if it would be recommended.
she was looking for a laptop but has now have decided a PC would be better.
she will be using it for going on the interent and installing microsoft office.
She also wants a printer, scaner, photocopier combo thingy and an antivirus security thing. flat screen monitor, keyboard, mouse think that is everything.
She wanted to get insurance for the computer for three years, but i wasnt sure from reading other comments on the forums if this was a good idea.
I was on Dell.com and got a price of £500 for the computer and accesories and a price of £150 for extended warranty and accidental damage.
Is this reasonable?
Also is it ok to order from dell.com or do you have to go to dell.co.uk?
How long will delivery be?
will the waranty and accidential damge quote be ok for in the uk?
Sorry for all the questions, as you might have noticed just a bit confused and puzzeled with what to do?
Many thanks for any help provided.

Personally I wouldn't buy the warranty, PC's are pretty reliable, especially from somewhere like Dell, and it's covered for the first twelve months anyway.
Have a look at https://www.dmxdimension.co.uk they list the latest dell special offers, they usually have better deals listed there. It's my problem, it's my problem

And it's my problem if I have no friends

And that's in addition to your statutory rights under the Sale of Goods Act which covers you for a "reasonable" time up to six years."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"
