Hi
Im waiting to be connected to an ebay agent regarding an issue and the wait time is quite long, so I have time to kill, so, as I have just received my very first California car scent, I was wondering about the following...
The average can lasts up to 60 days apparently...so to make it last longer, if I were to drill one or two small holes in the lid (the one that you have to peel open) then have the top lid on the smallest opening, do you guys think the smell will last longer than 60 days?
Thanks !!!

Dont understand why people want to breath chemicals all day, if you car stinks then clean it. These things cant be good for you.0

Likely it would last longer but from my own experience with them there is very little smell of them even with the foil removed completely, yes you can smell them up close but after a couple of days theres no smell at all even when getting into the car.
They look like dried fibre blocks inside and based on reviews I read online I bought half a dozen and the wife ended up using them in her airing cupboard:(.
After buying them (of course) I was out shopping with the wife and she went into a scented candle shop which sold their version of the hanging tree for cars,I bought a couple of those which genuinely do work and are long lasting especially the cinnamond ones.0 -

The scent I bought is Laguna Breeze.0 -
Everytime I see this thread I get the song California King Bed in my head...
Why not buy some Yankee Candle air fresheners instead? Yes they're quite pricey but they really do last ages.
I buy multipacks on Amazon for around £5 and thats only once or twice a year.
Those canned things barely last a day, let alone 60!0 -
