Household Bills in the UK?

Hi there,
We've been out of the UK for about five years and are planning our return.
We are now two adults and two young children.
Can anyone share any information on average household expenses such as gas, water, and electricity to help us budget please?
I'm assuming we will be renting a 3 bedroom house upon our return which should help with cost estimates.
Thanks a lot!

Have you tried a search engine?
If you really want to dig into gas and electric data you could try this.

Oh, and posting on the Banking board is unlikely to get you the best responses, try one that's more appropriate to the subject.0 -

Was just thinking about it after I posted , 3 adults here think it will be worth it ?0 -
It depends on whether the house is on a water meter or rates. It's worth considering getting gas & electricity from the same supplier as you can qualify for a dual fuel discount.SPC7 ~ Member#390 ~ £432.45 declared :j
