Court claim no other letters!!

so this might not yet be quite finished as my daughter, rightly so, has not used the car park and Morrisons store/petrol station since the Court letter appeared,
I'd be writing to the CEO to tell him exactly that, and to also let him know that this is most certainly not the end of this matter, so he'd better prepare himself and his legal department for something more difficult to deal with - a discrimination claim under the Equality Act 2010 - and all as a result of the actions of their rabid agent, at a time when Morrisons can far from afford to lose loyal and regular customers, given their parlous financial state.
Might provide him with a less than welcome distraction from fixating on the bottom line of his daily spreadsheet.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I would say could you just copy & paste your letter(s) here please? I was helping another disabled person on pepipoo with a very similar Morrisons/PE court claim and they refused to cancel it and he paid them £60, so you did well. Maybe it was because the Morrisons Legal Dept got involved, how did that happen?Am happy to post the letters/emails sent if you can tell me where/how to put them onto the Newbies thread.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

given that Mr Morrisson himself was lambasting Dalton Philips recently about the state of the company, its certainly worth a claim under the EA 2010 to drive it home , if only more people who qualify did it and won they may change their policies on pursuing the disabled and protected people under this act of law causing them problems and bad publicity plus its about £500 minimum for hurt feelings etc0

If thats the case then they shouldn't have allowed a private parking company to infest their car parks, or allow this company to continue to operate on their land.
If I was in cahrge of a store infested with parking eye or similar then I would certainly be looking at installing something over/near their poxy cameras to put a stop to their antics.
I would also go for the above, plus you should make it as awkward/difficult and damaging ( as in bad publicity etc) as possible for morrisons. Its well known what these private parking companys get up to and there is absolutely no excuse in allowing them to operate on Morrisons or any other car park.I'd be writing to the CEO to tell him exactly that, and to also let him know that this is most certainly not the end of this matter, so he'd better prepare himself and his legal department for something more difficult to deal with - a discrimination claim under the Equality Act 2010 - and all as a result of the actions of their rabid agent, at a time when Morrisons can far from afford to lose loyal and regular customers, given their parlous financial state.

Thanks all for the info. Would love to go down the route of EA discrimination, but am nearly out of email steam and wouldn't know where to start. But will definitely email CEO back.
Coupon-mad will put the letters online but not until this is totally all over. However if anyone needs it now or soon maybe I can send them somehow privately to yourself or another experienced poster.0
