Correcting Credit files

I have a mortgage with Barclays which has a few missed payments on it, butit doesn’t tally up with my bank statements – I set up a direct debit and itsbeen collected the last working day of the month since 29th November2013 (no missed payments at all). But on my credit reference agencies files itshows payments as being 1 month late in Nov and Dec of 2013. How do I go aboutgetting this corrected.

Complain to the bank and get the Credit Reference Agency to mark the entries as disputed.

Tell the bank that if they do not correct it you will take the matter to the FOS and ICO.

As above, dispute with CRA and send a firm but polite letter to barclays giving a reasonable timescale to complete the action requested or you will be making a report to fos and ico. Normally successful that way.
