I also do this! I have a HUGE bacardi bottle that I put 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p & 20p's in and then I have a sweet jar that has 50p's, £1 & £2...I was counting what I put in at the beginning of the year but gave up sometime in april ;(
I reckon I've got at least £300 between both jars since January

I've been saving 20p coins for many years and now my 4.5 litre whisky bottle is almost to the top. Also have some notes stashed in there. Can't wait to count it now. Any ideas how much could be in it?:D

Somewhat less than there would have been if you'd put it somewhere where it would have been earning interest (as with post #29 above)....
