Brother just bought a 2006 Jazz 44000 mls , 1 owner full service history , very tidy for about £3200 from a dealer , he is very happy with it .
There are quite a few on Auto Trader , believe you have to be over 60 to own one though

Yeah, LOL. Now really, they are very good cars and the magic seats (really, that's how Honda call them) are very good.
Other good cars: Fiesta 1.25 (loads around and cheap).
I would avoid anything with 3 cylinders (like the Fabia 1.2) unless you go a size down to C1/Aygo where they are fine.0 -

Yes, my Fiancee has one and (at only 22) looks very out of place driving it. She loves it though.
Definitely get a Jazz! Its really small (similar to a Fiesta or Yaris) but looks bigger and can hold a lot of stuff.
45ish mpg is easily obtainable, more on motorways.
Avoid the 1.2, and S trim, theyre not that brill. 1.4 is faster, costs the same to run and buy, and the S trim is very bare, but one step up (SE) is very well equipped.0 -
Thanks all - I've been to a dealer close by and I secured a Jazz (56 plate) for £2995 - good conditions overall and a smooth test drive. Not the fanciest car in the world but hey it'll do the job

Is it just be being stingy but £3000 for a 2006 car?
I would expect a 2008 car for that.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

My Fiancee got an 04 with low miles a little over a year ago for a shade under that. Honda's are more expensive.
I'd say, as long as it's in good condition and fairly low miles, that sounds about right.0 -

Yeah, this. The one I've got is less than 50k miles. For that price on that age/mileage all other Jazz were underwritten.0
