2005 renault scenic dash fault
Hi, I have recently purchased a 2005 reanault scenic expression 1.5 dci, did not really do any research before purchasing, but since purchasing I have read loads about the dashboard from this particular era failing, the car I have purchased is now 9 years old and has done 92,000 miles, is it 100% that the dash will fail or is there a chance it will be ok?, and also if it does fail will Renault still do the replacement scheme that they operated although I understand that has gone up from £100 to £150
TIA
TIA
Take every day as it comes!!

All four wheels might fall off later, who knows? Chill out and worry about it when it happens, dash might have been changed the day before you got it.Relax, life's to short to worry what might happen.Went shoplifting at the Disneystore today.
Got a huge Buzz out of it.0 -
If it's all working, be thankful. To be honest with any Renault of that era that's about all you can do; these periods where everything's OK should be celebrated, something will go wrong soon enough so don't waste time worrying about them now.0

Hey Spaceman, did Renault fix this for you for £150? I've just had the same fault occur on a 2005 Scenic on xmas eve
Smelt a bit of burning as it went, guessing some circuitry is frazzled.0 -

You have a renault and your only worried now about electrical issues now?
Sisters 2006 car has had issues for years. Dash lights that stop working then start again. A keyless stop start than sometimes decides it doesnt feel like working today.
Window issues. I think they have all been replaced and the drivers one in well into its 2nd replacement.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
