DLG Legal Services are the legal arm of Direct Line Insurance,we had an accident just after Xmas and they have been acting on our behalf, they are a disgrace to the legal profession.
We were hit from behind by a Mercedes on the M1 and advised it would be an easy claim with no liability on ourselves,my partner had a neck injury and was treated for a few weeks by a specialist then physio and various assessments were made by the doctors and sent to DLG,all the accident documentation was sent with salary details and nursery fees for our toddler who was involved in the accident.
They advised the documentation had been mislaid, then they sent a claim to the wrong defendant and insurance company after complaining numerous times they have again sent the wrong documents.
After eight months we have got absolutely no where, and to compound the problem this morning Direct Line have sent the insurance renewal with an increase of £160 even though we have protected no claims, after calling them they had the nerve to say it was because the claim had still not been resolved,i am contemplating suing them for negligence any advice please
