My husbands just got back from looking in Macclesfield, and there weren't any there.
Sorry If it's a wild goose chase!
Currys checked on the computer and said the nearest in stock to Macclesfield was evesham (sp) in Worsctershire.

No it's not ! There's a HUGE difference between the old DS and the DS Lite (The biggest one being the excellent brightness of the new DS Lite screens) :
Longer Thicker Stylus
4 Brightness Settings
Longer Battery (Lowest Setting 16-18 Hours, Brightest 4 hours)
Slick New Design
New Button, Stylus, and Power switch locations making it more comfortable to use
GBA Slot Cover
Greater Wifi Stregnth
For an extra £30 - £35 i'd get the DS Lite.0 -
