Advice on accepting good will gesture?

Hi,

I started proceedings through MCOL with Lloyds, I received a letter from Lloyds (not SC&M) offering me £519 as a good will gesture. I am happy to take this and end the court proceedings, how do I go about doing this?

Follow the instructions in the letter to accept. Cross out any confidentiality clause. Wait until you have the money cleared in your account. Write to MCOL/Local court and let them know the matter has been settled to your satisfaction.

Remember once you have accepted this a full settlement in respect of these charges, you cannot claim the remainder at a later date.

There were no instructions in the letter, they told me they were giving it to me and the money was in my account the next day

Do I have to write to SC&M to tell them I am accepting the £519 that Lloyds put in as full payment?
