Has anyone had any experience booking a holiday with this company. I am looking for a late deal in August 2 adults 2 kids and have got a quote off them for 1 week half board in Benidorm, flights from local airport and transfers included for just over £1300. The same accomodation with Thomsons, Eclipse, direct etc is £400 dearer. Any feed back please.

My daughter booked her holiday through XL to Corfu, when the booking came it was with a company called Kosmar. They only went for a week, the accommodation they booked was unavailable, so the first night they had to go to an apartment that was well below the standard they had booked, after that they were transferred back to where they had booked but had to squash into a studio apartment rather than a 2 bedroom one which they had booked. On the 5th day they had to move again into another studio. I am in the process of making a complaint, but, having checked out the feedback on this website: http://www.holidaytruths.co.uk/viewforum.php?f=49 I am not holding out much hope for a quick settlement. I would be extremely wary of booking with this company.

Thanks for your replies. I have heard that in some hotels certain Tour operators have certain rooms and was a bit worried that we would get the worst ones.
The holiday we are looking at is
Thursday 16th August for 1 week.
    2 adults and 2 children 12 & 9
Flights from newcastle airport (would also go from durham tees)
7 nights half board in Sol Pelicanos/Ocas
    Transfer included. No flight meals.
£1308 (we can get an Extra £30 off when using the code Tesco but dont know if we are allowed to use it.)
We are off work from Thursday 16th August and are back to work Monday 3rd Sept, but I am invited to a wedding on Saturday 25th August and if possible would still love to go.
    Thanks

you are generally allocated your rooms by recption on arrival to the pelicanos/ocas- it depends on if there is a large function on or group booking that they wish to fit all together. we used to have people from sam flight with same company in different blacks; it really is the luck of the draw! many people make requests but these are not garunteed
