Suzuki Swift
Can anyone think of a car for £12k which is such a bargain as a Suzuki Swift SZ4 ?
It comes with :
Tyre deflation detectors
DAB radio with Bluetooth integration
SAT NAV
Switchable Traction Control
Keyless Entry and Ignition
4 Electric Windows
Climate Control
Cruise Control
I can't !!

Comparing new cars only, then yes its pretty good. I think the citroen c1 is pretty good value too on lease, or you can get a similar spec to what you have posted, 5 doors, electric roof, cruise, leather interior and 7 inch touchscreen for £10,600 on drive the deal. I'm considering getting one to replace the IQ which is getting a little cramped for me wife and 2 kids.0

What sort of rep do Suzuki dealers have for aftersales? Can be worth more than a few gadgets.0

Not bad - I have had 2 Swifts already and am considering a 3rd !!
Any problems that I have had (tyres being the only one) have been sorted out via a quick email to the MD !!
My main gripe is that the (local) dealers who I bought my first Swift from closed down forcing me to travel 20 miles to the next - which also closed down 2 years later - forcing me to travel a further 10 miles !0 -
How on earth have I managed to drive for 40 years and not miss "tyre deflation detectors"?0

Same way you could manage without electric mirrors, self levelling headlights, mp3 player, satnav, etc. etc.
Not missed if you never had them but once you have had them you realise their convenience.
So far as the deflation detectors are concerned, at 70mph on a wet motorway it's useful to get a visual warning of loss of pressure rather than get the surprise through your steering wheel.0 -
My sister is on her second Swift, and had a SX4 in between, and I think one of the things that keeps her going back is that the dealer is so good (I believe it's Pebley Beach Suzuki in Cirencester).0

For about £1k more you can get the Sport version if you want to trade a bit of economy for performance. I don't think it has the tyre monitoring either but otherwise matches the SZ4 for spec.
I've had my SS Sport for a year now and for the most part it is the best car I've had
