second child tax code

Hello,
We've had a baby (second child in the family) a few weeks ago but I didn't ring the taxman to let them know? Should I do it ?
I earn more than 25k so no tax credit entitled.
Anyway, will I pay less taxes if we've got 2 kids now?
Or this has nothing to do with the income tax?
Thanks a lot

nothing to do with income tax. You should claim child benefit and maybe have a look at tax credits as the threshold for 2 children is higher than for one (£32k instead of £26k)0

With the O/T I'm over the £32k as well so tax credit won't help us.
Looks like another spending story on the way with little help from the government. Usual one for working people. Let's say I'm happy to have a job, 2 kids and a wife as a bonus.0
