Hi
I have an argos card had it for over a year, balance is £240 no interest till jan 15' limit is £870 started at £600 but they auto increased it. Was looking at some nice furniture for the new house (in the middle of moving) and thought of increasing it to £1000. A mere £130 increase. Did it through the my argos card thing and it declined straight away? Could this be due to recent mortgage app/approval? No late payments, adverse credit etc. Or is it down to me not using the cards limit often enough? Thankyou all

Hi
Very roughly was May time would this by why it declined? Just a matter of timing rather than anything else? Obv credit must be fine to be able to get the mortgage offerLove my DMP left to pay £0/ £10162.51

More than likely the timing. As you have applied and been declines you'll more than likely have to wait 6 months before applying again.0

call them, they maybe able to overideDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
