How do I list an item with the price in USD?

I want to sell an item that will appeal to the US market.

I have seen similar listings where both the starting price and postal charges are in US dollars.

Can anyone tell me how to go about this please?

TIA

Hello, follow the ebay link below to get to their page about how to sell items internationally.

    Hope it helps! :D

If you want th eprice displaye din dollars then you must list on ebay.com. If listing on .com remember that you need to make it clear that items will be shipped from the UK and lso remember to set your 'home' postage to US and your overseas charges to the UK.

You will also be paid in dollars, but this is fine if you have a paypal account as you will hold two sets of balances, one in sterling and one in dollars.

  • Thanks for that.

So I need to set up a new Seller Account? How do I pay my eBay fees on ebay.com?

So I need to set up a new Seller Account?

No, your existing ebay.co.uk seller account can be used. All you have to do is login on ebay.com and click the Sell tab. The rest is pretty straightforward to list an item...
How do I pay my eBay fees on ebay.com?

The same way you pay your existing ebay.co.uk seller fees - from your UK bank account or credit/debit card.

    Hope this helps!

I have some US dollars in my paypal account. Do I just withdraw as normal straight into my English bank account?

Yes you can but you still need to have the minimum balance to do so for free. It isn't included in the balance of the sterling 'pot'.
