RBS Claims

Have read in local newspaper that you can claim the RBS for losing money on bonds and savings accounts. But claim has to be made through a solicitor and if you win they will take a percentage. Can and how do I claim this for myself? I lost a lot of money with RBS.

    Have you got a link?
There is nothing in the financial press about this and I cant believe any serious journalist has written an article on this as it is not possible to lose money on bonds or savings accounts.

FCA regulation requires the complaints process to be available free of charge and without the need for solicitors. Indeed, the FOS themselves say they prefer dealing with customers personally as legal speak can actually hinder a complaint.

How have you lost money on a bond/savings account? (which is not possible and has not happened to anyone)
I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.

Clearly, this is just an advert for a Claims Management Company ("solicitor") and there is no genuine basis for you personally to make a claim/complaint. Many CMCs use such headlines to snag custom. Forget all about it.

It's just a "headline" advert for a CMC.
