FD threatening to cancel Switch card!!

Hi,

I claimed nigh on £400 from FD last year, and since then I have managed my account very well, however recently I had a DD come out early that pushed me over the limit, and since I was working but had to work a week in hand I was over my limt and as a result incurred a charge of £25 as well as the overdarft interest charge, I mean how can people get out of debt when they are charged these amounts?

With the claim backs, you would have thought they would at least reduce their fees but no, so after receiving another £25 charge this month I complained to FD via their internet messaging, and had £12 of it refunded (why such an amount?!?!) but they said that if i made any more withdrawls without cleared funds they would not pay them and then take away my switch card but we dont want it to come to that sort of thing!

B****ds eh? Anyone else had this in the past? Essentially tantamount to blackmail, complain etc anymore and we will remove your card, I wouldnt mind but its 2 months out of 7 and Ive only complained this time, not because i was charged, but its the amount that im charged (£25!)

If this is a current account, not sure where they've got the £12 from?

FD are part of the HSBC group, depending on how far you want to push them, you could remind them the OFT have made no decisions about bank charges. You could also ask them if they really want to go to court over such a small amount?
