Cheapest 3-month winter stay in France

Two oldies want to spend 3 months in France, November-February, preferably South where it's a bit warmer. Any suggestions on a limited budget ? Gite, campsite, anything considered.

You could rent an apartment at say Juan les Pins or Antibes and then go on train trips East and West on the coast.
Or somewhere like Sete and do similar train trips.

I agree with “richardw” that they should rent an apartment in France to live for these three months and for this, they may take help from a Real estate agent who can provide them an apartment according to their budget or they can find by their self from Google search or any other website from where they are providing apartments on low cost.0
