Sorry folks, but still a bit unsure about transferring an old cash Isa.
I have already opened a Stocks and Shares NISA with the full £15000--(still in cash at the moment until I decide what to invest it in)
Can I still transfer an old cash ISA to either this Stocks and shares NISA referred to above or to a new provider who pays a better interest rate than I'm currently getting?

You can do either as the old cash ISA is not related to this year's contribution at all.Stephen Covey once said that "when you teach once, you learn twice". That is the primary reason for my participation on the forums as an IFA.
Although I strive to provide accurate information in my posts, there may be the odd time when I fail. Yes I know it's hard to believe but even Your Hero can make mistakes. Apologies in advance.0 -
It depends on the provider. Not all providers allow you to transfer in previous years contributions.0
