Huge dip in credit score then it's shot up again - why?

Hi,
I use checkmyfile monthly to see how my credit score is going as I had a DRO in Feb 2011. It's crept up some 10-15 points per month for the last 2 years or so now as all my 'new' credit (1 phone bill and 2 credit building CC's) has always been paid on time and all those accounts show as OK.
However last month, the score dipped almost 200 points on all 3 CRA scores and this month shot back up to 18 points above the score from May.
There are no new entries on the report, so does anyone have idea what made the scores drop so dramatically to only jump straight back up? I've never seen that before, just a gradual increase over time.
TIA.

checkymyfile does not provide you with experian's score, as experian do not provide any credit account information to checkmyfile only public information.
So given that you say all of them were affected then I would is that most likely there was some sort of error by checkmyfile. The other less likely alternative would have to be something related to the public information on your file such as you temporarily not appearing on the electoral roll, or something like a CCJ appearing and then disappearing.
Did you look in to the report details at the point where you noticed the drop? and was all information correct and the same as previously?A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Not exactly the same but I have a free noddle account, so does my partner.
Every few months it drops and then the next month it goes back up for absolutely no reason whatsoever, no changes, no searches etc - the same for both of us.
I'm convinced it's just a technique used to try and get people to sign up to their 'We'll help to improve your credit score' paid for services.0 -

Yet the credit score doesn't exist ?
Lenders dont see it, its just a number.0 -

Thanks for that pathetically sarcastic post, very helpful.0 -
