Getting spare change

Is there a bank that will exchange spare change in £1 and 50p coins? I need it for daily parking at work. Or is there anywhere else apart from bank that I can spare change from?

Can you not pay by mobile or card?0

I think all banks allow you to withdraw coins over a counter. Don't know about the amounts.
Similarly, you can deposit your spare change if you wish.0 -
Post office would give you 20 £1 coins sealed in small plastic bag if you give them £20 note.
I dont know about 50p coin but hey would probably have that too0 -
Most banks will do this, you don't usually even have to be an account holder of theirs.0

If you do small spends use notes collect plenty of change quickly that way.
my reduce the need of a special trip to the bank/post office etc.
If there are a few at work with the same issue then a change kitty might be an option.0
