Equifax problems

As recommended by MSE, I took a trial subscription with Equifax in May 2013. I cancelled before the free month was finished and received an email confirmation that the account was closed.
I have received a few emails during the past year saying my credit file / history had changed but I ignored them as I also had Noddle and could check for free.

I noticed in July this year that Equifax had started taking monthly subscriptions from my debit card. Attempts to email them resulted in an invitation to create an account so that I could log on to check the status of my query.... Err I think not!

I resorted to calling my bank and cancelling all dealings with Equifax for ever more :-) Even if I signed up again - unlikely, I would have to tell my bank first before they would authorize it.

Naughty Equifax......

So, if you took out the 'free' trial, make sure that you are not being charged!
