Roberts Radio

Hi, Can anyone tell me how to operate the walkman type ROBERTS r972,(bought at the boot sale for 70p) There are three rectangular buttons that I cannot figure out how to work. Memo Recall and Priority. The Priority seems to have three stations, unfortunately I dont know how to set it.

Thanks.

I have just had a look on the Roberts Radio website and unfortunately the user guide section is "under construction". Incidentally why are you asking this question in the "Consumer Vent" section of this board? Surely you should be asking this question in the techy part of the forum.
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

Give them a call on 01709 571722. Any company that uses a geographical contact 'phone number must be fairly reasonable so maybe they would send you an instruction manual, if they're still available?

I`ve managed to find my instruction manual. Find the station you want to store.press memo - top right of screen flashes. Move tuning up or down to select what number station you want it to be. Press memo again. Done.
You can store 15 presets and 6 on am. To find a stored station, press recall and tune up/down to find the right one. I found it easier to use preset 1 =radio 1 etc.
I never did work out the priority button.
It says for further advice call technical helpline on 020 8758 0338, but that could be years out of date.
    Hope I`ve explained it ok.
