Hi, advise please. I work 24 hours a week and get tax credit but in august it stops cause daughter finished college. Daughter ain't working, I can't get more hours in work. Tax credit said if daughter could go on another course we would get it back but it will stop come march cause she turns 20. Once tax credit stops and I still work 24 hours a week will I be able to claim any other benefit ?

If your daughter is currently 19 and not working, is she looking for a job? If she is, and fulfils the criteria for JSA, she can claim that and contribute towards the household by paying some board.0
