MBNA ppi success

Hi,

I've successfully managed to reclaim 4.5k worth of PPI from MBNA, it was surprisingly easy however in the letter confirming the decision was upheld it states I will be paid this in 28 days but doesn't say by which method. Does anyone know? Will it be cheque, Bacs payment or will they pay off my current debit first & give me the balance around 1k? The letter is unclear. I'm not in arrears to them.

Cheque if you no longer Bank with them, otherwise straight into your current account.

Ah thank you. I wasn't sure & cant be bothered to go through their ridiculously complicated security to ask them.

After a long battle I won nearly 26K made all the more sweet as I had received nasty letters from them and equally sarcastic comments when I rang them.

I am now battling American Express and have been told by the FSO that they have made an offer but that it is not in line with their guidelines so are in talks with them.
