Moggy - He has not, we have never handled him or brought him inside the house, if we try catch him to get him neutered we can get this checked then.

We are not sure if he has been neutered or not, he never appears to spray or smell but have obviously considered he may not be neutered.

In my experience it's very, very easy to determine whether a male cat has been neutered or not. A couple of things stand out, IYSWIM. ;)

It may be that he is chipped and you can reunite him with his owner.

Just to say, 'Well done' for persevering with this cat and not just catching him and taking him to a rescue centre.

We didn't mind at first but over time he started getting really bossy and dominant

(We think he would still be bossy when neutered, his character is very very strong).
He sounds like my type of cat.
I like alpha male cats, my last one was a farm kitten who turned out to be incredibly strong-willed, a phenomenal hunter who ate all his catches and was very protective of his domain.

Pity I'm not in the market for a cat, I'd consider taking him.

Good luck and keep us informed.

I dont know if its that obvious, my Tom has still got very large sacks left but he has been done definatley. I had to get them to confirm it at the rescue.

Yes, sometimes it is hard to tell if they have been, haven't looked too closely at him really but will definitely be something I do soon so good point. If only PollyCat, would be lovely to find someone who really wants him. It's more of an issue now because of our injured male. He is recovering in the house at the moment but we are worried when we eventually let him out that the same thing might happen again, this cat really has it in for him so need some resolution. Will keep updated.
